Securitization guru David Pullman has signed a multimillion-dollar royalty securitzation deal with Ron Isley and his Isley Brothers catalog.

Isley is the latest in a growing line of artists to participation in music royalty securitization deals that resemble the Pullman-created Bowie Bonds, Holland-Dozier-Holland Bonds, Ashford & Simpson Bonds and James Brown Bonds.

The Isley Brothers' 194-song catalog features 50 R&B chart hits including the classics "Shout," "Twist & Shout," "It's Your Thing" and "Fight the Power".

A music royalty securitization is a financing of artists and publishing royalties that allows the original owner to keep 100% ownership of the assets that are financed.  A securitization is not a sale of such assets and therefore is not a taxable event.

The Pullman Group developed these deals to empower artists and creators of entertainment and intellectual property.

"I'm honored to be working with the Isley Brothers, a group who truly fought hard for everything they have in this business," said Pullman, founder and chairman of the Pullman Group.  "I'm confident that our deal will bring them into yet another empowering phase in their long-running career.  With such an incredible body of work combined with the groundbreaking business sense they possess, the Isley Brothers were an ideal candidate for a Pullman Bond transaction."

Pullman remains the only financial professional to complete such deals based on future entertainment royalties.  His asset-backed securitization deals include the famous $55 million Bowie Bonds transaction, the $30 million deal with Holland-Dozier-Holland, an eight-figure deal with Ashford & Simpson and the $30 million deal with James Brown.
