SHOW BIZ BONDS WAR

It's the battle of the celebrity bonds salesmen.

David Pullman, the rock 'n' roll banker who created the David Bowie bond, has filed a multibillion dollar lawsuit against his competitors, alleging breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Among those named in the suit are some of the biggest players in show biz bonds, including Prudential Securities, entertainment accounting firm Rascoff/Zysblat Organization (RZO), and CAK/Universal Credit Corp., which is run by former EMI Music chief Charles Koppelman.

"Desperate people sometimes do desperate things," Koppelman told the Daily News.  "Who is David Pullman anyway?"

"We have not been threatened," said RZO chief Bill Zysblat, who is Bowie's business manager.  "We are not aware of any litigation."

"We believe the allegations are without merit and we will vigorously defend our position," a Prudential spokesman said.
